You can’t be serious!

The absurdities in your piece denigrating Liberals is breathtaking in its arrogance.

You cannot psycho-analyze an entire Political Party! (I’m speaking as a professional now). That just doesn’t work for me. And very likely it doesn’t work for many, many others.

The differences between Liberals and Conservatives begin with their POLICIES. And it’s those dichotomous POLICIES which define the personalities of the MEMBERS of the two Parties — but only in a broad, generic way. For example, one might say that Liberals tend to be more kind, selfless and caring people whereas Conservatives tend to be hard, tough and likely more selfish. (Personally, I think Republicans are soulless, but that’s a different story).

I think I have “answers” to why some Democrats aren’t doing quite as much as they need to do to lead the Party into big wins: win back the Senate (not far to go), win back the House (a much heavier lift), and win back the White House — where our chances are pretty good IF Trump & his corrupt fascists continue to destroy the country and our Democracy. It’s too soon to tell about that yet... and my “answers” on what’s needed are too long to write here; but I am working with a colleague on an upcoming piece WITH our answers and recommendations to our Party.

Democrats do know what to do! They are not guilty! They are not self-punishing! BUT they are up against a movement of very angry, very white, mostly older male, low information, uneducated people who need to be dealt with in ways we’ve never quite faced before.

No one should lose sight of the fact that we have some great minds and real fighters in the Democratic Party. We all need to support them, encourage them and do our parts to fight with and for them.

Denigrating them is a fools errand. And a shameful one!
