…ting love and money,
tragic, pathetic, funny.
Life, always a cheat, becomes
a procession of defeat.
A fabric of truths and stories,
facts and dubious fictions,
in which we live and sigh,
until, surprised by time,
we shed that fabric of skin,
suddenly outdated, and die.
