This is a terrific piece and echoes my thoughts about Bernie Sanders completely. When he decided to run for POTUS, I was in disbelief because I’ve disliked and distrusted him for many years. He’s been useless in the Senate despite his “big ideas”. I strongly believe that were it not for Bernie and his BernOrBust groupies, Hillary Clinton would be in our White House today. He campaigned against her all the way through instead of campaigning against every Republican who ran… and eventually Trump.

Bernie Sanders is far more like Trump than any Democrat… well he’s NOT a Democrat, is he! That’s the biggest mistake we Dems made: letting him hang on the Dem coat tails, using our money, our mailing lists, et al. He promised to register as a Democrat but lied. Even before the conclusion of the election, he re-registered as an Independent for his 2018 Senate run. And this nonsense with the Democrat-Socialist “Revolution” has become a cult of the “roses”, causing an unfixable chasm in the Democratic Party with younger people who know no better.

I’m ranting. Sorry…
