I should preface my experience by saying that I own everything Apple, from computers to laptops to phones to iPads to peripherals, and would NEVER switch brands despite having glitches with many upgrades.

I upgraded my iPhone 7S to OS 11 and it’s been disastrous on so many levels. The battery burns hot now; twice I was unable to make outgoing calls and required AT&T to spend hours fixing the problem; apps no longer sync with same apps on my iPad; at least 10 apps no longer were compatible with OS11 and I really had to search for replacements which were; and worst of all, the brightness feature on my phone refuses to stay bright but after a few minutes reverted to almost dark — no matter how many times I fiddle with the settings. So tomorrow I’m buying an iPhone 8Plus. And I’ll be happy I did.

Upgrade to OS11 on my iPad Air 2 had fewer glitches. The battery also burns hot after an hour or so of use. And many of the apps are not compatible to they, too, had to be replaced. Again, not so easy. And with a few apps, like Twitter, for example, it keeps rebooting itself and its upgrade to accommodate OS11 sucks! Same with a few other apps. I’ll hold off buying a new iPad, thinking I may buy a MacBook Pro — or the really hot new (and expensive) iPad Pro.

But I still love Apple and my Macs and think they’re the best in functionality, design and customer service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
