I agree with virtually everything you say…except this. Warren is the favored 2020 win? Really? Where does this fact come from? (According to Vox, Sanders is the most popular politician and will likely win — an opinion which infuriated me so much so that I stopped reading their drivel)!

I’m one who has no respect for Bernie Sanders nor his socialist groupies. In terms of policy, Elizabeth Warren is very close to being a Berniecrat herself: unlike all others who have been said to be viable 2020 candidates who might run.

As far as I know and have seen, Bernie Sanders is the only one actively campaigning for 2020. And we should not lose sight of the fact that he’s NOT a Democrat, and that he refuses to register as a Democrat despite wanting to be the Leader of the Democratic Party.

We Liberals are facing a huge problem…a messaging problem. But we are being distracted by the “movement(s)” you describe. Bernie Sanders has done nothing to help the Democrats. Quite the opposite. Our job now is to move him and his Socialist Millennials out of the fucking way and get down to the real business of honing a strong message that voters clearly understand. A message that begins with the 2018 Mid-term election for which, sadly, little is being done. Just a lot of talk.

Thanks, Roy, for writing this piece!
