Gwen, I loved reading this! Especially the part about the chickens. I grew up on a chicken farm and had exactly the same experience with the roosters. Ugh! Had to learn that after the head of a chicken is hacked off, it still walks around for awhile.

The part about driving on the wrong side of the road… that’s how I learned to drive! Stealing my dad’s old Studebaker and taking it out at night on the back country toads with my girlfriend. What fun!
