Geez, Annie, I so wanted this to be a dream! What an imagination… albeit somewhat on the morbid side. I often have thoughts of going down in a plane and you’ve captured the horror of it perfectly… although I’m not sure about the “light” part. I guess it’s what we’d all like… that is, a peaceful end.

When I began reading your story, I thought it was really about insomnia. Because I’m a terminal insomniac, have written 4 pieces here, Night Demons, on being one. So that’s where I thought you were going with this and I was getting ready to empathize. But then a plane crash… yikes!

Bravo for writing a great story. Keep it up… you’ve got good momentum!
