Damien, thanks for your insightful response — and for reading my work. In the end, I can only say “Life Is Hard”. We all need to courageously put one foot in front of the other without getting too discouraged.

For myself, I try to take each day and find the good in that one day… then move on to the next. It seems to give me a positive purpose which allows me to see everything with a special clarity.
